British holidaymakers are continuing to be worried by poor hygiene standards at the Sentido Rosa Beach in Tunisia.
Outbreaks of illness have previously affected the hotel and it now appears that problems have not been addressed.
In August 2014 we reported that holidaymakers had required medical attention after experiencing severe symptoms of sickness and diarrhoea during their stays.
More recently, holidaymakers have commented on TripAdvisor raising concerns regarding the current hygiene standards at the hotel.
One holidaymaker stated that âcleanliness is non-existentâ at the Sentido Rosa Beach. Others have witnessed chefs âusing the same tongs for raw foods and cooked foodsâ in serving areas. They added that drinks at the hotel were âwatered downâ.
Anne Thomson, Head of Travel Law at Your Holiday Claims, commented: âWe are concerned to read further reports of poor food and hygiene standards at the Sentido Rosa Beach.
âI hope that the tour operators and hotel management will investigate the reports of illness in order to prevent any further spread of infection.
âI would urge anyone who has fallen ill during their stay at the Sentido Rosa Beach to contact myself, or a member of our holiday claims team, for advice on the merits of making of a claim.â
