We are still receiving enquiries from holidaymakers who have been ill whilst staying at the Marmaris Palace Hotel in Turkey.
Your Holiday Claims have previously reported illness at the Marmaris Palace Hotel. Guests have advised that they were confirmed with campylobacter or salmonella and unfortunately numerous guests, including children, had to be hospitalised.
This week, one of our clients told of his experience, which was published in the Sun newspaper and the Mail Online. Our client spoke of his children falling âviolently illâ and suffering with âdiarrhoea and sickness,â which resulted in them being admitted to hospital and placed on an âIV drip.â
Our client revealed that upon speaking to the representative âa further 25 childrenâ were affected and also âplaced on IV drips.â
Tracy Stansfield, an experienced solicitor at Your Holiday Claims, said: âWe are receiving more enquiries in connection with the Marmaris Palace Hotel.â
âIt appears at this stage that the source of the illness has yet to be confirmed. I hope that the tour operator, Thomas Cook, will be conducting an urgent investigation to identify the cause of the illness.
âI would urge anyone who has become ill, or if their children have become ill, at the Marmaris Palace Hotel to contact Your Holiday Claims straight away.â
