Campylobacter contracted by British Holidaymaker at the LEtoile Hotel, Turkey

We are concerned about a potential outbreak of illness at the LEtoile hotel in Icmeler, Turkey, following a recent enquiry from a lady who has turned to us for help to pursue a claim for compensation after suffering severe symptoms of food poisoning.

On return to the UK, campylobacter has been confirmed.

Although no complaints appear to have recently have been made on Tripadvisor, the recent outbreak of illness, potentially though to have been caused as a result of food having not been cooked thoroughly may have affected other holidaymakers during their stay, or in upon their return to the UK.

However, if food is not being cooked thoroughly by the hotel staff, this could lead to an outbreak of food poisoning and ruin many peoples holidays.

âI hope the tour operators who sell holiday packages to the LEtoile Hotel take this matter seriously and carry out a full investigation to prevent others from being affected.

âAnyone who has been ill during their stay at the LEtoile Hotel in Icemeler, Turkey should seek medical attention straight away and contact us as soon as possible for help to claim the compensation they may be entitled toâ.
