- Numerous guests critical of the Egyptian hotels hygienic standards
- One guest claims they had the worst gastric illness âof their lifeâ during their visit
- You may be able to make a claim if you have suffered an illness on holiday which lasted for at least a week!
Whilst researching into outbreaks of sickness at worldwide all-inclusive resorts, the experts at YourHolidayClaims have found a number of unnerving reviews which have been made by recent visitors of Egypts Jaz Aquamarine resort.
Commenting on the website TripAdvisor, numerous holidaymakers have revealed how their hard earned stays at the TUI promoted resort were plagued by outbreaks of gastric illness.
One poster who stayed at the Jaz Aquamarine in November 2017 with their family revealed:
âA la carte restaurants were the biggest disappointment and having eaten in all four we all began episodes of diarrhoea and sickness the next day after each one, with the food clearly precooked as when you order it arrives at your table within minutes.
âOut of six guests we were left with one man standing!
âAll [the] others [were] unwell with diarrhoea and sickness at some point, but after day two we never once had a full team and one guest spent 5 days unwell requiring medical attention and antibiotics.
âThe others varied from 1 day of diarrhoea to 3-5 days of diarrhoea and sickness still ongoingâ.
In addition to this, another recent visitor of the Egyptian resort also disclosed details of their ruined holiday in an online review. The disgruntled Southampton holidaymaker commented:
âIf you are going for a good experience Jaz Aquamarine is not [the] place to go.
It [has] lukewarm foodâ¦I had the worst diarrhoea and vomiting of my life for two days.âI have been home for 4 days and I am still suffering from it. I DID NOT eat anywhere else apart from this hotel…
âI wont be returning. Each to their own as there were a lot of positive reviews on here… but each time I was let down by something. This is a not a 5* experienceâ.
Our legal experts take
âWe regularly here of outbreaks of illness at popular all-inclusive Egyptian resorts, and unfortunately it appears that this is the case once again.
âIn a five star resort such as this the least that holidaymakers can expect is to experience basic food hygiene proceduresâ¦If the reports of lukewarm food being served are true than this is totally unacceptable.
âHowever, if you have been struck by illness on holiday then you dont have to let illness have the last word. Contact us at YourHolidayClaims today to reveal whether or not we can help you secure justice for your ruined holidayâ.
