Recently returned holidaymakers have headed online to TripAdvisor to warn of severe illness at Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe.
According to guests who stayed at the Dominican Republic resort this month and last, outbreaks of food poisoning have left several hotel visitors unwell and some in need of hospital treatment.
“This hotel is a food poisoning factory!” comments one disgruntled holidaymaker before listing numerous hygiene failings.
“The food in the Buffet was terrible …cold when should have been warm, warm when it should have been cold,” comments another guest.
