Here at Your Holiday Claims, we have been made aware of several reports of poor hotel hygiene causing sickness amongst guests at Jaz Aquamarine Resort in Egypt.
The five star resort, part of Thomson Holidays Platinum range, promises âa first class dining sceneâ and âno fewer than 18 poolsâ. However recent guests have been left bitterly disappointed by the standard of the hotel.
One guest commented on TripAdvisor: âThe pool is not clean and not safe for kids. The food is appalling and we were all sick throughout the stay. All bland with no variation.
âAvoid at all costs.â
Another unhappy hotel visitor added: âHot food was always cold or barely warm. The place is like a cattle market with mostly dirty tables and no cutlery available.
âAll 4 of us returned home hungry, disappointed, with bad stomachs and will never ever return to this hotel.â
Anne Thomson, Head of Travel Law at Your Holiday Claims, commented: âReports of poor quality food and pool hygiene are always concerning.
âOutbreaks of illness can very quickly spread at holiday resorts if health and safety standards are not consistently upheld.
âI would encourage those affected by illness at Jaz Aquamarine Resort in Egypt to seek expert legal advice on whether they could make a claim for compensation.
