Here at Your Holiday Claims, we have been made aware of several reports of poor hotel hygiene causing sickness amongst guests at Jaz Aquamarine Resort in Egypt.

The five star resort, part of Thomson Holidays Platinum range, promises “a first class dining scene” and “no fewer than 18 pools”. However recent guests have been left bitterly disappointed by the standard of the hotel.

One guest commented on TripAdvisor: “The pool is not clean and not safe for kids. The food is appalling and we were all sick throughout the stay. All bland with no variation.

“Avoid at all costs.”

Another unhappy hotel visitor added: “Hot food was always cold or barely warm. The place is like a cattle market with mostly dirty tables and no cutlery available.

“All 4 of us returned home hungry, disappointed, with bad stomachs and will never ever return to this hotel.”
