Ongoing outbreaks of illness are continuing to devastate holidaymakers at Coral Sea Aqua Club (formerly Coral Sea Splash Resort) in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
In 2015, we reported on several holidays “marred by illness” at the four star First Choice resort.
It now appears illness has struck again with holidaymakers reporting “at least 50 cases” of sickness sweeping the luxury Egyptian resort.
One recent visitor commented on TripAdvisor: “3 out of 4 of us had stomach bugs. 2 of us had ear infections and therefore a large doctor’s bill…thank goodness for good travel insurance!”
A local pharmacist advised the holidaymaker that they were “the 11th family from the hotel” that day with similar symptoms.
Another disappointed holidaymaker reported: “All 4 of us came back with a stomach bug!
“My daughter was ill on the plane back being sick and most people were ill with the bug while we were there.”
“This hotel has a major problem with hygiene and infection control” warned another guest.
