“Absolutely shocking” – lukewarm food served at Le Royal Holiday Resort in Egypt

British holidaymakers have recently reported failings in food and hygiene standards at Le Royal Holiday Resort in Egypt.

Visitors to the Thomas Cook promoted resort have commented on the review website TripAdvisor, describing their stays as “absolutely shocking”.

One guest stated, “All the family ended up with sickness and were running to the toilet due to the food”.

In recent weeks, the resort’s all-inclusive buffet has been described by one holidaymaker as “the worst we have ever had”. They added, “We were served some sort of roast chicken which was often cold/lukewarm”.
